We are currently seeking advice from our website designer in relation to creating a database for anyone wishing to register concerns in relation to the Solar Power Stations:

If you wish to help protect our Deben Valley countryside, please urgently sign and forward the below Government Petition:

We urgently need our youngsters (you will be left with it!) to “spread the word” via Social Media.  Can we get signatures to 100,000 by 27th July 2025?  If so, this petition will be considered for debate in Parliament.

There is a view that this is critical following the 15th May 2025 Parliament debate, led by Dr Caroline Johnson MP: "This debate will hopefully demonstrate that covering our best farmland with massive solar projects would be irreversibly damaging to the nation.  I urge the Minister to listen to me, my fellow MPs and fellow citizens before it is too late”. https://www.parallelparliament.co.uk/debate/2025-05-15/commons/commons-chamber/solar-farms

And write to your Councillors:

East Suffolk Council

If writing once, it is required subsequent to the Planning Application.  If objecting, this must be clear, stating the Planning Reference number.  The number of recorded Objections is critical (you can use any information from this website, government debates etc to support your views).
